This beautiful home is located in the quaint neighborhood of Sovereign Isle on the East end of Crystal Beach in Destin. This neighborhood features a private community pool, a covered patio area for picnics and cookouts, two natural gas grills and a courtyard area for outdoor games. Sovereign Isle is comprised of only 36 homes, most of which serve as private residences or home away from home. This makes the neighborhood feel less crowded and private.

Casa Al Mar has been newly updated with fresh paint, new flooring, new furniture, new mattresses, new LED Smart TV's, new kitchen and laundry appliances. Inside the home you will experience well-appointed upscale beach décor, and sleeping accommodations for up to 14 guests. Complimentary high speed internet access and access to Hulu Live TV is provided to guests.

Guests will enjoy ease of access to restaurants and shopping in an around Crystal Beach. This home is located within a third of a mile from the Destin Commons, an award winning upscale, outdoor mall with access to exclusive shops, dining, a movie theater, and outdoor entertainment. Bass Pro Shop, AMC Theaters, Bath and Body Works, Belk, Chico's, Brighton, and Whole Foods, are just a few of the great shops and venues at the Destin Commons. 

Getting to the beach is very easy either by walking, bicycle, or golf cart. Simply leave the house and take the pedestrian friendly sidewalk down the street to the Tarpon Street beach access. Guests can rent chairs and umbrellas along with other beach accessories from the Vendor at the Tarpon Street Beach Access.

Layout of the Home

 

First Floor:

Located on the first floor is the living room, kitchen, dining room, powder room, master bedroom, master bathroom and the laundry room. Entry to the home is through the main front door on the wrap around covered porch.

Second Floor:

On the second floor is the bunk bedroom which features four bunks (2 twin bunks over 2 full bunks). Across the hallway is the third bedroom which features a king bed and a separate lounge area in the tower area. This area is great for reading, playing games, or for kids to connect a video game system. The bunk room and the third bedroom share a bathroom in the hallway. 

Lastly, the fourth bedroom is located on the East side of the home and features a king bed, private patio, and an en-suite bathroom. Large walk-in closets are located in each bedroom and provide ample space for clothing and luggage.

Restrictions 

  • Sorry, no pets allowed.
  • No monthly rental discounts.
  • Minimum renter age is 25 years old - No exceptions. 
  • No Smoking in the home, on the balconies, around the pool area, in the walkways, or in the common areas.
  • No food or drinks allowed in bedrooms. 
  • Guests must sign the rental agreement. Failure to do so could result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. 
  • Tents, and canopies are not allowed on the beach per the City of Destin.
  • Note – This property may have date restrictions that apply. All reservations submitted online are a request until receiving an email confirmation from SoWal Luxury Properties.

 

Additional Information

  • The garage is not permitted for guest use at this time.
  • There are up to four parking spaces available for guests to use at the home. Parking on the street or in the right of way is prohibited by the City of Destin. Any fines incurred for illegal parking will be the responsibility of the guests.
  • Boats, RV's, trailers, or vehicles larger than a full size truck or SUV are prohibited by the City of Destin.
  • Good Housekeeping Policy - Guests are expected to keep the home and it's contents in the same condition as it was when they arrive. Any damage to the home or the contents will be the responsibility of the guest. Please treat this home with respect and do not move furniture, eat or drink in the bedrooms, or damage the home. You will be charged for any damage caused to the home.

This is a family oriented neighborhood, not a party home. Any vulgar language, excessively loud music, large parties, and unauthorized events are strictly prohibited. If we receive any complaints of excessive noise, disturbances, parties, any violation of the HOA rules, or learn of law enforcement being called to the residence, you will be evicted from the home and will forfeit all deposits associated with your reservation. 

This home was a private residence for the past 19 years. The owners retired and are living abroad.
